Meet the No-View Crew

Lawreen & David Strauch are the owners and founders of No-View Farm.

Lawreen handles the day-to-day operations of the farm and animal care. Raised in Worcester, MA she had an early love of horses and a desire to become a large animal veterinarian. She attended Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst earning a BS in Animal Science in 1978. She went on to teach Animal Science at Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute in Danvers, MA from 1979-1986, before moving to Wolfeboro, NH where she and David, had found a house and land to start their own farm. Her original plan of raising replacement dairy heifers has transformed to grass fed beef cows, roaster chickens, turkeys and pigs. Lawreen serves on the Wolfeboro Agricultural Commission and is a board member of Carroll County Farm Bureau.

Growing up in Woburn, MA, David spent a lot of time shadowing his grandfather who worked as a landscaper and cared for extensive vegetable gardens. He also attended Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst earning a degree in Landscape Operations. He founded Colonial Landscaping in 1976 and expanded the business upon moving to NH in 1986. When it comes to the farm, David is responsible for equipment maintenance and poultry processing. He also serves on the Wolfeboro Agricultural Commission and is a board member of Carroll County Farm Bureau.

The No-View Crew also consists of a great group of dedicated family, friends and employees who are on hand during various points in the growing season to help with processing, packaging, bookkeeping, assisting customers, marketing and much more -- including the big push to prepare for Thanksgiving!
